LED Teeth Whitening · St. Petersburg, FL

A real whitening session, not a kiosk treatment.

Teeth whitening at The Bronze Lily is a professional in-studio LED whitening treatment performed in St. Petersburg, Florida. The Signature Session starts at $150 and takes 45 minutes to 1 hour at our 1920s converted home studio at 2851 1st Avenue North.

The treatment is a precise 2-to-3 round protocol — each round is 15 to 18 minutes of LED-activated whitening — with a dentist-grade plant-based gel that is hand-applied to each individual tooth using a silicon cheek retractor for full visibility. Most clients leave 4 to 8 shades brighter per session. The gel is safe on all dental work, including crowns, fillings, and veneers.

The Bright Bundle is three Signature Sessions for $300 — usable within 1 year of purchase, with 2 to 3 months recommended between sessions, and a $150 savings versus three singles. The bundle is for one client account and is not transferable.

Every session includes red eye protection glasses, Vitamin E for gum hydration during the session when needed, desensitizing gel when needed, and a take-home aftercare kit. Whitening is also mobile-bookable for bachelorette parties, bridal groups, and Airbnb visitors — $185 per person, up to 3 guests simultaneously, mileage fee if 10+ miles from the salon. A teeth whitening session is included in the $425 Bridal Package. Appointment-only with day-of availability via a quick call or text. Not recommended for pregnant clients or those with active cavities or gum disease; clients under 16 welcome with a parent present and approving.

The protocol

What to expect.

A full Signature Session at The Bronze Lily is 45 minutes to 1 hour — a precise, multi-round LED treatment rather than a one-shot light-bath. Here is the sequence:

  1. Starting shade check — we use our tooth-shade palette to log your starting color. This is the before-photo benchmark.
  2. Setup — silicon cheek retractor in place, opening your mouth so every tooth is visible (front, sides, even back). Red eye protection glasses on to block the bright blue LED light.
  3. Precision gel application — dentist-grade plant-based whitening gel is hand-applied to each individual tooth. Not haphazard — the more careful and precise the placement, the better the result and the less gel ends up on the gums.
  4. Round 1 · 15 minutes of LED — light activates the gel. You stay reclined. We check in on any sensitivity.
  5. Reset — you wipe the spent gel off with a clean white washcloth we provide. We reapply fresh gel so each round runs on full-potency product.
  6. Round 2 · 15 minutes of LED — second cycle. Sensitivity check.
  7. Round 3 (optional) · 18 minutes of LED — if your tolerance is good and we want more lift, we go for a third round at slightly longer duration.
  8. Finish — gel rinsed, retractor out. We apply Vitamin E to your gums for hydration. We recheck your shade against the palette — most clients land 4 to 8 shades brighter than where they started.
  9. Take-home kit — Vitamin E for ongoing gum care, desensitizing gel if you experienced any sensitivity, and your aftercare card.
Sensitivity check-ins are built in. Most clients experience little to no sensitivity. If you do, we have desensitizing gel ready and you control how many rounds we run.

Results

What you'll see.

One Signature Session

Most clients leave 4 to 8 shades brighter. Visible in photos, dramatic in the mirror. Works for everyday brightening, pre-event prep, or as a one-and-done before a wedding, vacation, or photo day.

The Bright Bundle (3 sessions)

Designed for clients with significant staining (coffee, red wine, tea, tobacco history) or anyone maintaining brightness throughout the year. Recommended spacing: 2 to 3 months between sessions. You have 1 full year from purchase to use all three. The bundle is non-transferable — sessions can't be gifted or split.

How long will it last?

Somewhere between 6 months and 2 years depending on two factors:

  • Your daily habits — coffee, tea, wine, smoking accelerate regression.
  • The natural porosity of your enamel — more porous enamel re-stains faster.

Low-porosity enamel and a clean diet can hold results up to 2 years. Heavy daily coffee drinkers may see results soften around the 6-month mark.

Safe on all dental work

Our gel is dentist-grade and safe to use over crowns, fillings, veneers, and other restorations. Note that restorations themselves do not lighten (they stay the color they were made), but your natural enamel will brighten without damaging the dental work.

For your group

Bachelorette + bridal group whitening.

In-studio group whitening: our LED equipment serves up to 3 guests at a time. Each individual still gets the full 45-to-60-minute multi-round protocol — we just run them in parallel. Groups of 4 split into 2+2, groups of 6 split into 3+3 — schedule with us in advance and we'll line up the staggered sessions tight.

Mobile group whitening (bachelorette parties): $185 per person + mileage fee if your rental is 10+ miles from the salon. Equipment serves 3 at a time on-site. Bachelorette groups commonly book mobile whitening alongside mobile spray tan and mobile welded jewelry — combine all three in one trip = one mileage fee for the whole booking, not three.

For the bride: a teeth whitening session is included in the $425 Bridal Package alongside trial + wedding-day spray tans, lash full set, and a Signature Lily Facial. Most brides time their package whitening session for the week of the wedding (5–7 days out so the 48-hour white-diet window passes well before the rehearsal dinner). Want more lift before the wedding? Two options: (1) add à la carte Signature Sessions in the months leading up — a single before your engagement shoot, another before bridal portraits, the package session week-of, or (2) start the Bright Bundle 6+ months ahead with sessions spaced 2–3 months apart, landing the final session pre-wedding. See bridal for the full package and à la carte build menu.

Stack smart

Pair whitening with the rest of your visit.

Whitening is a 45-to-60-minute service in its own right — not a quick add-on. But it stacks beautifully with services that share the same recline or run during the same studio visit. Common pairings:

  • + Spray Tan — whitening first, then spray tan. Both happen in adjacent rooms in the same visit.
  • + Lash Lift & Tint — both happen reclined. The lift can process while a whitening round runs.
  • + Signature Lily Facial or Mini Facial — face fresh, teeth fresh. Sequence facial first (so eyes are clear), whitening second.
  • + Brow Wax or Brow Lamination — fast polishing services to add before or after.
  • + Permanent Jewelry — finish the visit with a welded sterling or gold-filled bracelet. Walk out wearing something new and smiling brighter.

Booking tip: Call or text 727-218-7045 so we can sequence your stack properly. Some pairings need to run in a specific order (lash before spray tan, facial before whitening).

Aftercare

Straight from the studio aftercare card.

After your session, your enamel pores are open and your teeth are extra vulnerable to staining and temperature. Here is what we tell every client — and what is printed on the take-home card you'll leave with.

The first hour

Water only.

Don't eat or drink anything except water. The whitening gel opens the pores of your enamel and makes your teeth highly vulnerable to staining. Even one cup of coffee or one sip of wine in this window can re-stain.

The next 48 hours

The "white diet."

For the first 48 hours, stick to foods and drinks that won't stain freshly opened enamel. Your pores are extra receptive — what you put against your teeth now matters more than usual.

Safe

water · milk · white rice · chicken · white fish · yogurt · eggs · bananas · cauliflower · potatoes (no skin) · white bread · mozzarella · almond/oat milk in clear or herbal teas

Avoid

coffee · black tea · green tea · red & white wine · cola · juices · berries · tomato sauce · soy sauce · balsamic · mustard · ketchup · turmeric · beets · dark chocolate · smoking + vaping

Lipstick warning

Skip it right after.

Don't apply lipstick right after whitening — the pigments can transfer to the porous enamel. Long-term, consider switching to a smudge-proof lipstick. The pigments in regular lipstick can cling to teeth and contribute to discoloration.

Sensitivity (24–48 hrs)

Mostly mild, if anything.

Some clients experience mild tooth sensitivity in the first 24 to 48 hours. People with existing sensitivity, recently cracked teeth, micro-cracks, open cavities, or leaking fillings may notice it more. Use Sensodyne toothpaste until the sensitivity passes. If you received a take-home desensitizing gel from us, follow the instructions on it.

Vitamin E for gums

Take it home.

We send you home with Vitamin E to apply to your gums. Helps with rehydration and any minor tenderness from the silicon retractor.

Long-term habits

Protect your results.

Avoid hot & cold extremes — temperature cycling expands and contracts teeth and lets stains penetrate. Avoid acidic foods + drinks — use a straw for fizzy drinks and iced tea. Cut back on drinking + smoking — tannins and nicotine reverse whitening results fast.

Who it's for

A gentle treatment with real limits.

Good candidates: healthy adults with teeth that have darkened from coffee, tea, red wine, dark berries, soda, tobacco, or general aging. Clients with a recent cleaning (within 6 months) get the best results because the gel contacts the enamel directly.

Safe on all dental work. Our gel is dentist-grade and plant-based — safe to use over crowns, fillings, veneers, and other restorations. Restorations themselves don't lighten (they stay the color they were made), but your natural enamel brightens without damaging the dental work. A lot of clients are surprised by this — most whitening systems on the market warn off restorations. Ours is gentle enough that it doesn't.

When to wait:

  • You're pregnant or nursing
  • You have active cavities, gum disease, exposed root surfaces, or recent oral surgery
  • You have an upcoming dental cleaning — book whitening AFTER the cleaning for best results

Clients under 16: we'll happily service teen clients with a parent or guardian present at the appointment and approving the treatment. Please call or text 727-218-7045 ahead of booking so we can plan the session.

Why here

A real savings vs. the dentist — and a gentler experience.

01

Real savings vs. the dentist

Professional-grade LED whitening at a fraction of dentist pricing. The dentist-office whitening process is often much harsher on enamel and gums than ours.

02

Dentist-grade plant-based gel

Not the strip-mall pop-up formula. Safe enough to use over crowns, fillings, and veneers.

03

Precision hand-application

Gel is placed on each individual tooth, not slathered on a tray. The cheek retractor opens your mouth so every tooth is visible — front, sides, even the back ones.

04

2-to-3 round protocol

Fresh gel between rounds means each round runs on maximum potency. This is why our results are 4 to 8 shades per session, not 2 to 4.

05

Sensitivity care built in

We check in after every round. If you start to feel anything, we have desensitizing gel ready. Most clients experience little to no sensitivity.

06

Take-home aftercare kit

Red eye protection glasses during the session, Vitamin E for gums you take home with you, desensitizing gel when applicable, and a printed aftercare card so you don't have to remember.

Booking

Appointment-only — with day-of availability nearly every day.

Whitening is appointment-only, but we keep day-of availability open nearly every day. A quick call or text to 727-218-7045 before you head over and we'll usually get you in same day. Reserve a 45-to-60-minute window.

  • Solo Signature Session ($150 starting) — book on Square in advance, or text us for same-day.
  • Bright Bundle ($300 · 3 sessions · 1 year to use · save $150) — buy as a package, then schedule your 3 sessions spaced 2 to 3 months apart over the year. The bundle is for one client account only and is not transferable — sessions can't be gifted, split, or transferred to friends or family.
  • Group in-studio (3 at a time) — call or text 727-218-7045 with your group size; we'll stagger the bookings tight.
  • Mobile group (bachelorette / bridal / Airbnb) — text 727-218-7045 with the location, date, group size, and any other mobile services you want bundled (spray tan, permanent jewelry). We'll quote within 24 hours.

For your big day

Two paths to a brighter smile.

Client review

We walked in for a bracelet and walked out with three sets of sparkling teeth! Larae was so accommodating, doing all three of us at once — gentle, and she explained everything she was doing. She even made sure we had aftercare. Thank you, Larae, we’ll be back!

Teeth Whitening · Common Questions

Frequently asked questions.

How much is teeth whitening at The Bronze Lily?

A Signature Session starts at $150 (45 minutes to 1 hour of in-studio LED whitening, 2 to 3 rounds with dentist-grade plant-based gel). A Single Round touch-up is $70 for one 15-minute LED round — ideal for a quick refresh or maintaining an already-bright smile. The Bright Bundle is $300 for three Signature Sessions — a $150 savings versus three single bookings. The bundle is usable within 1 year of purchase, with 2 to 3 months recommended between sessions, and is non-transferable. Mobile group whitening for bachelorette parties is $185 per person + mileage fee if 10+ miles from the salon.

How many shades will my teeth lift in one session?

Most clients leave a Signature Session 4 to 8 shades brighter. The Bright Bundle (3 sessions spaced 2 to 3 months apart over a year) is for clients with heavy staining and for anyone maintaining brightness over time.

How long does the appointment take?

45 minutes to 1 hour. We run 2 to 3 rounds of LED whitening (15 min, 15 min, and optionally 18 min) with fresh gel reapplied between rounds for maximum potency. Includes a starting and ending shade-palette check.

Does teeth whitening hurt?

Most clients experience little to no sensitivity. The gel is dentist-grade and plant-based, and we check in with you between every round. If you start to feel any tingling, we have desensitizing gel ready and you decide whether to continue. Some clients feel mild sensitivity in the 24 to 48 hours afterward — Sensodyne toothpaste helps.

Is it safe on crowns, fillings, and veneers?

Yes. Our dentist-grade plant-based gel is safe to use over crowns, fillings, veneers, and other restorations. Note that restorations themselves do not lighten (they stay the color they were made), but your natural enamel brightens without damaging the dental work.

Can I get teeth whitening at my Airbnb for our bachelorette weekend?

Yes. Mobile group teeth whitening is $185 per person + mileage fee if 10+ miles from the salon. The LED equipment serves up to 3 guests simultaneously per booking. Bundle with mobile spray tan + mobile welded jewelry on one trip = one mileage fee for the whole booking.

When should I whiten my teeth before my wedding?

A teeth whitening session is included in the $425 Bridal Package — most brides time the package session for the wedding week, 5 to 7 days out, so the 48-hour white diet passes well before the rehearsal dinner. For more lift, brides have two options: (1) add à la carte Signature Sessions in the months leading up — for example one before the engagement shoot, one before bridal portraits, and the package session week-of, or (2) start the Bright Bundle at least 6 months ahead and space the 3 sessions 2 to 3 months apart, landing the final session pre-wedding. Most brides also stack whitening with spray tan, lash, and a Signature Lily Facial during wedding week. See bridal.

Can I walk in for a teeth whitening session?

Whitening is appointment-only, but we have day-of availability nearly every day. Call or text 727-218-7045 before you head over and we can usually get you in same day. Plan on a 45-to-60-minute window.

What do I need to do right after the session?

For the first hour, drink only water — no coffee, tea, wine, juice, or food. Your enamel pores are open and re-stain very easily in that window. Don't apply lipstick right after either. We send you home with Vitamin E for your gums and a printed aftercare card.

How long will the results last?

Anywhere from 6 months to 2 years. It depends on your daily staining habits (coffee, wine, tea, smoking) and the natural porosity of your enamel. Low-porosity enamel + a clean diet = up to 2 years. Heavy coffee + porous enamel = closer to 6 months. Using straws for staining drinks and a smudge-proof lipstick both help maintain results.

Can I gift a Bright Bundle session to a friend?

No — the Bright Bundle is for one client account only. Sessions are not transferable and can't be split among friends or family. If you'd like to gift teeth whitening, we offer Bronze Lily gift cards that can be applied toward a Signature Session for the recipient.

How long do I have to use the Bright Bundle?

One full year from the date of purchase. We recommend spacing your three sessions 2 to 3 months apart for the best maintenance rhythm.

Can teens get teeth whitening?

Yes — clients under 16 are welcome with a parent or guardian present at the appointment and approving the treatment. Please call or text 727-218-7045 ahead of booking so we can plan the session.

Is teeth whitening safe while pregnant or breastfeeding?

We recommend holding off on teeth whitening during pregnancy — not because of any proven harm, but because there's limited research and it's simply not worth the what-ifs while you're expecting. Breastfeeding is different: no issue there, so once baby's arrived you're welcome to come brighten your smile. In the meantime, we're happy to help you plan your session for after.

How does this compare to teeth whitening at the dentist?

Our in-studio LED whitening is professional grade and gets clients 4 to 8 shades brighter per session — at a significant savings versus dentist-office whitening, and with a gentler experience. The plant-based gel we use is safe on all dental work and most clients experience little to no sensitivity.

Do you offer refunds?

Because our services are performed on you, they can't be returned once complete — so all services are non-refundable. Prepaid packages and session credits are likewise non-refundable and non-transferable, and are valid for one year from purchase. If anything about your visit isn't right, tell us before you leave and we'll make it right.

How is this different from drugstore whitening strips?

Drugstore strips use a low, one-size concentration and rely on you to place them evenly — which is why results are slow and patchy and often miss the edges of each tooth. Our in-studio treatment uses a dentist-grade, plant-based gel hand-applied to each individual tooth with a cheek retractor for full visibility, activated by LED light over 2 to 3 rounds. Most clients leave 4 to 8 shades brighter in a single session, and the gel is safe on crowns, fillings, and veneers with little to no sensitivity.

What can I eat or drink right after whitening?

Stick to the “white diet” for the first 48 hours while your enamel re-seals: water, plain chicken, rice, white fish, bananas, cauliflower, and plain yogurt are all safe. Skip anything that would stain a white shirt — coffee, red wine, tea, dark sodas, berries, tomato sauce, curry, and brightly colored candy. If you smoke, avoid it in this window too. A little planning here protects the shades you just gained.
